Description
This kit includes the gas block, cobalt 3/32 drill bit, drill jig, roll pin install plate, and roll pin needed to make sure your gas block will be secure.
This is not a single use kit, the drill and jigs should be able to reused several times.
The 0.936″ kit uses the same roll pin as used to retain the forward assist.
Two sizes available 0.936″ and 0.750″
Jig is only made for the supplied gas block, Additional gas blocks can be purchased separately.

Worked great on the first run! Second run drill bit started to shit itself and broke off inside jig and on the outer wall of gas block! Had to knock the jig off the gas block which in turn broke the 3D polymer jig, had to punch out the bit and file and smooth gas block! Will be looking into BRD for a replacement as that is at least metal and shouldn’t have the same issues. I can only assume it was the drill bit that failed but was it not a quality bit to begin with? Was looking forward to this being a solution to pinning our own gas blocks at the shop vs set screws but unfortunately this didn’t pan out.

Hi, JoshRepr I’m sorry I wasn’t clear in the posting that the jigs are designed to work with only the included gas block. I left a message with you. Please get back with me I really want to make this right for you. The drill bits are top quality I source that from Kodiak Cutting tools and they are made in the USA. I use the same bits to drill several gas blocks before changing them, but that’s not to say you still didn’t get a lemon bit. If you have a different gas block you like to use I can custom make a jig for it, just let me know.
